Seat Of Our Pants...
Seat Of Our Pants (SOOP) is an acoustic Americana/Folk/Blues/Bluegrass/Country/Rock foursome based out of Marlborough, Connecticut. We’ve been playing by the proverbial “Seat of our pants” since early 2011.

Playing the music is easy. Describing what ‘kind’ of music we play is more difficult. We like to call it “Acoustic Contemporary Folk”. It’s the variety of music that creates the fun for us. We integrate tight vocal harmonies with stylized versions of music you won’t expect from a mostly acoustic band. Our blend of originals and “SOOP-ized” favorites will keep you enthralled, song after song.

What folks are saying about us...
“With a sound that gets your toes tapping and voice singing along, SOOP creates a sweet soup of blended harmonies, uplifting lyrics and a fun vibe that’s a mashup of soft rock, folk with a hint of blue grass from their ‘laughing fiddle’.”
Ann Marie Cannata McEwen, The Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts & Cultural Center, Middletown, CT

“SOOP always gives a tight vocal and stringed performance with a heartwarming delivery and message. “
Bruce John, Former owner of Shaboo Inn and current director of the Bread Box Folk Theater.
