Seat Of Our Pants...
With their own eclectic style of folky roots homegrown right here in Connecticut, Seat Of Our Pants (SOOP) is rapidly becoming a household name throughout the state and beyond. Their songs are both heartfelt and humorous, their harmonies heavenly, and they play an array of instruments you don't see every day, with Mike on fiddle, Mark on Cajon, Jeff on bass and harmonica, and Carolyn on whichever stringed instrument she decides to bring along for the night. Treat yourself to an evening of music that will leave you laughing, crying, and thankful that you decided to spend some time with this crew.

What folks are saying about us...

“I brought two new converts down from Willington for last night’s show, they kept thanking me for bringing them!...

There is something about the interpersonal relationships of the band members that make their performances so magical. They blend musically and seem to genuinely enjoy performing together. I believe the audience leaves feeling they were a part of a very special evening!"
Pamm Summers - Museum Curator at EC-CHAP

“A sound that gets your toes tapping and voice singing along, SOOP creates a sweet soup of blended harmonies, uplifting lyrics and a fun vibe that’s a mashup of soft rock, folk with a hint of blue grass from their ‘laughing fiddle’.”
Ann Marie Cannata McEwen, The Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts & Cultural Center, Middletown, CT

“SOOP always gives a tight vocal and stringed performance with a heartwarming delivery and message. “
Bruce John, Former owner of Shaboo Inn and current director of the Bread Box Folk Theater.

“I Love this band!!! Always an experience of startling quality and amazement!”
Mark Steiner – Singer/songwriter, East Hampton, Ct

“You guys have the whole package, voice, guitar/bass/fiddle with a fabulous combination of original material along with beautiful old "standards", delivered to the audience with genuine ease and grace”
